MINIĆ: I UNDERSTAND PROBLEM FACED BY TRANSPORT OPERATORS, BUT THERE WILL BE NO BORDER BLOCKADE

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said after a meeting with representatives of transport operators that he is on their side, but that a border blockade will not be allowed, as it could cause irreparable damage to the economy and the entire system.

During the meeting at the Government, technical issues were discussed to resolve the problems faced by transport operators. "I understand that transport operators have problems. We are on their side and will do everything to resolve their issues. We remain at their disposal, but at the same time, we will not allow any disruption at the border, as it could cause irreparable damage to the economy and the entire system," Minić told reporters. Dino Durmić, a representative of the Consortium, said that transport operators are seeking the same status for drivers from BiH as that enjoyed by other drivers. He called on representatives of all levels of government to meet on Wednesday in Gradiška, so that representatives of the Government of Croatia could also take part in the talks.
