TRANSPORT OPERATORS' DISSATISFACTION IS JUSTIFIED, EUROPEAN BUREAUCRATS ARE TO BLAME

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 23 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik said that the dissatisfaction of transport operators regarding the EU's treatment of them is fully justified, but that they must understand that the real culprits behind the accumulated problems in this sector are European bureaucrats, who do not allow fair working conditions for all.

"Because of that injustice, the people of Republika Srpska must not be punished through blockades of border crossings. In these globally challenging times, a blockade could lead to disruptions in the supply of goods in Republika Srpska, primarily oil and petroleum products," Dodik emphasized. He stated that he therefore considers the blocking of border crossings unjustified and misdirected. "I believe that transport operators, together with the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska and other competent institutions, will agree on measures to ensure the uninterrupted flow of international transport," Dodik wrote on X. Dodik believes that one of the measures that should certainly be adopted is for the BiH institutions to stop deciding on all other European matters until the issue of work permits is resolved. "I call on everyone to act jointly, through the institutions of BiH, to help our transport operators meet their demands," Dodik said.
