VULIĆ: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA DEMANDS ONLY ONE THING - RESPECT FOR DAYTON AGREEMENT AND DAYTON CONSTITUTION

SARAJEVO, APRIL 16 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska, its leadership, and the Serbian people in BiH are asking for only one thing – respect for the Dayton Agreement and the Dayton Constitution, the same demand made by all relevant international authorities, many of whom turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the messages persistently coming from political Sarajevo, Sanja Vulić, Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA.

"While Muslims celebrate the criminal organization known as the so-called Army of BiH, which committed the most brutal and monstrous crimes against Serbs with the help of mujahideen, even today, some individuals, through various deceits, lies, and pressures, are trying to impose the narrative of Serbs as criminals. They’ve been pushing that narrative for thirty years, even though the Serbian people have survived genocides and ethnic cleansing in every war in this region, fighting for justice and truth, for the freedom of all peoples, and against colonial rule and occupation. Thanks to the fact that we have always stood on the right side, the bright side of history, we’ve managed to preserve our states and freedom, despite the persecutions and crimes committed against us," Vulić said. She emphasized that even in recent history, since the signing of the Dayton Agreement, Serbs have always been a constructive partner in strengthening the Dayton BiH, opposing any attempts to undermine it. That is exactly the reason, she says, why today they are persecuting the leadership of Republika Srpska, using Christian Schmidt with his false mandate, who is trying to falsely present himself as someone who has a say in a sovereign country. "Christian Schmidt is a criminal who jeopardized the survival of BiH and caused political chaos. His only goal now is to use orchestrated, synchronized attacks from Muslims and obedient Serbs from the opposition to save himself. The opposition in Republika Srpska has been tasked with doing everything Schmidt says in order to make room for a joint endeavor against Republika Srpska. We hear the same messages every day from Sarajevo and the opposition in Republika Srpska. It is clear to them that they cannot be in power in Srpska because the people will not support them. They are not, and cannot be, the ones who will make decisions on behalf of Republika Srpska instead of its legally elected political representatives," Vulić emphasized. She says that the task of the leadership of Srpska is just one, and that is the task entrusted to them by the people – to preserve Republika Srpska. "The fact that they are tasked by Schmidt with `destroying` Republika Srpska, so they are trying to fulfill this task at any cost, is the opposition's problem. For their interests, the opposition remains silent on the Troika's praise of the so-called Army of BiH, they remain silent on the accusations against Serbs and Republika Srpska, they remain silent on the open campaign the Muslims are waging against Srpska, and even use their presence in international institutions to slander the leadership of Srpska along with the Muslims. They will do everything to hand over Republika Srpska on a silver platter just so Schmidt and some foreign officials can say they are `good Serbs,`" Vulić emphasized. She pointed out that there are no "good," meaning obedient, Serbs and "disobedient" Serbs when it comes to Republika Srpska, its Constitution, and the Dayton Agreement, because on those issues, Srpska must stand as one, speak, breathe, and think as one.
