MOI PROVIDES MAXIMUM PROTECTION TO PRESIDENT DODIK

BANJALUKA, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan said that the President of Srpska Milorad Dodik has been the most threatened person for years, and stated that the MOI provides maximum protection in terms of physical security, but also in response to all threats that are not rare.

"Every day we review every security situation, which relates to a possible threat to the security of the President of Republika Srpska. Last year we had a dozen attacks of different types and threats directed at the President," Karan told reporters in Banja Luka. He pointed out that the MOI reacted to every threat and they take every threat very seriously. "We are taking and will take all adequate measures. We are the guarantee of the safety of the President of the Republic. No one should doubt that. All those who dare to approach the President in an unlawful way will be eliminated in order to prevent them from doing so," Karan stressed. He reiterated that the level of security for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is at the highest level. The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said yesterday at a special session of the National Assembly that he is constantly threatened with arrest and that he has received information that he will be shot if the people guarding him resist. "I say that we will resist. Why do they want to arrest me? Because it's been faked that I am like this or that," Dodik said.
